Nicki Krawczyk is determined to destroy the myth that writers don’t make any money. After earning her degree in Public Relations and reading a book her mother gave her about how to become a copywriter and earn 6-figures, Nicki propelled herself into freelance work.
She has worked with high calibre clients like Hasbro, TripAdvisor, and Adidas.
Today, she heads her own training program and podcast, where she instils the proper skills writers need to reach their ultimate potential as self employed copywriters. It’s this business she named Filthy Rich Writer – whatever “Filthy Rich” means …
In this terrific conversation Nicki gives us some solid and well thought through business philosophy – about pricing, about hiring others to help “as business owners we think we can do it all ourselves and we’ll wait till we have more money before hiring someone. Truth is we need that person in place in order to make more money and to take biz to the next level”
Nicki has her own way of dealing with the tough times and there certainly are tough times in business – “it’s scarier than you think it will be and it’s better than you think it will be and everything can happen in the same day.”
